Navigation course for walkers – Full Day Practical – 21st January 2024
Moorland Adventure presents a navigation course for everyone who walks in the countryside. Participants can even gain a qualification if they wish or just book on one event for a taster.
This full day practical session will include map work, grid references, use of compass, walking on a bearing on Breaklow. Booking and payment in advance is essential. Cost £42.00.
This course is intended to develop personal proficiency towards a nationally recognised award in navigation. It is NOT a mountain leadership qualification.

There is limited parking space at the Snake Summit lay-by at the start, we will meet at Buxton Mountain Rescue team base in Doveholes at 8.30am and car share to the start.
